Sweet Dreams are Made of This

Visual always loves a project we can sink our teeth into, so we were very excited when our client, Sweet Street, suggested they’d like to do something different for this year’s NRA (National Restaurant Association) show. Sweet Street, located in Reading, PA, has been serving up delectable items at NRA for decades. They have evolved over the years from a small cookie company in a two-bay garage to a global reaching innovator in the dessert industry (they even have a food truck in Paris!). As Sweet Street continues to evolve, expanding into the savory food arena, they wanted their presence…

It’s the 10th annual and they are hoping to raise substantial funds this year.  Please read about it here on our flyer or on their websitehttp://www.communitybackstop.com/upcomingevents.html.  A good time is sure to be had by all while helping those in need. CES…A Closer Look

The Visual team is finally all back and rested from CES 2015. 22 employees, 4 projects and 1, 629, 869 steps taken (over 1 1/2 million!) It was quite a show. The fruits of Visual’s labor could be seen at the Toshiba and Sakar/Vivitar exhibits in the Central Hall while other teams supported Lenovo (Venetian) and Samsung (home appliance events at the Aria) off the show floor.  What an exciting conference! Both exhibits and the products highlighted within were out of this world.  Below are a few exhibit trends we noticed amongst the chaos.  Trends: Barn Door conference doors Replacing…

Gout of this World at ACR (American College of Rheumatology)

AstraZeneca/ Medimmune wanted to create excitement at ACR this year with their new exhibit.  The focus of the exhibit was gout. The AZ/MI team asked attendees to view gout ‘in a new light’. A sign consisting of crystal-like rods (to symbolize the crystals formed around joints when someone has gout) made it clear at the entrance of the exhibit that something new would soon be happening in the field of gout. The client’s main goal was to communicate their message through methods of science and education.  Visual provided several touch points throughout the space to achieve this goal. – An…

Mission:Possible at NHF

CSL Behring exhibits every year at the NHF (National Hemophilia Foundation) show.  This show brings thousands of hemophiliacs (and the entire bleeding disorders community), their families and caregivers together for educational sessions and fun social events. This year the show was in Washington DC. The proximity to the International Spy Museum  inspired CSL Behring to embrace a ‘Spy’ theme for their exhibit at the show. Kids were excited to traverse the Laser Maze.  If you broke a beam making your way through, you lost time as the program re-set.  There were also fun, spy-related air brushed tattoos,  a custom spy…

Visual RISES to the Occasion

It’s that time of year again…back to school! Other than learning and all that jazz, Neumann University students have another reason to be excited. A brand new library awaited them at the outset of the semester. Major renovations took place over the summer to transform the traditional library to a dynamic, leading-edge learning environment. Visual has been a valued vendor of Neumann University (neighbors who reside just down the road) for many years.  When approached about designing and producinga ‘feature wall’ in the new library, Visual was eager to participate. Visual started, almost a year ago, with designs that included…

You Old Softee!

Visual Management decided employees deserved a treat during these last dog days of summer. To thank the team for their hard work, Visual owners had Mister Softee make a special trip to their headquarters in Aston, PA. On one of the hottest days of the season, the sound of the Mister Softee theme song was music to everyone’s ears. The sundaes, cones, and milkshakes were enjoyed and appreciated by all.

Design is King

Visual’s Design team recently ventured out into the world of retail in search of new trends, unique materials, and interesting approaches. They found all of that and more (including what they’d look like as Lego mini figures) at the King of Prussia Mall not far from their corporate headquarters in Aston, PA (just outside of Philadelphia.) Some favorite stops included The Apple and Microsoft stores, Tesla, Urban Outfitters, Hermes and a lovely encounter with a very friendly and knowledgeable sales woman at David Yurman. Word has it that  they did have to guide a designer or two away from the…
