Go for the Gold

Visual Communications recently won an Event Design Award from Event Marketer magazine. The award (Gold Winner-under 50′ X 50′) was presented for our design for the Bayer HealthCare exhibit at Winter AAD 2013.

Mark Dziubczynski, Sr. Industrial Designer at Visual, effectively integrated numerous elements to create a beautiful and dynamic booth for the client.

Visually arresting, the exhibit’s highlights included (3) large lit fabric arches, lighted water walls, iPad demo stations, and custom interactive art piece.

An artist and facilitator collected attendee signatures on the art piece, which featured tiles that made up the Bayer HealthCare logo covered by clear magnetic discs. For each signature, a donation was made to the AAD’s Camp Discovery charity, which creates a one-of-a-kind camp experience for kids with skin diseases.

Other booth amenities included spa water (pineapple, cucumber and melon) offered to attendees,  subtle aromatherapy, and an area where attendees were given a demonstration of a product’s new concierge service under an audio dome.

The fact that Event Marketer received the most entries in the program’s history this year, makes the achievement that much sweeter.
