No Tricks…Just Treats at Abbott TCT

The Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics show is a focal point of Abbott’s schedule throughout the year. It usually falls around Halloween as was the case this year.

Visual is happy to support their efforts at the show annually. Successfully representing many brands and products is always a challenge, which we are getting adept at meeting head on. This year, though, we were given an additional directive… to get the audience excited about the Absorb launch. Absorb is the only fully dissolving stent approved for the treatment of coronary artery disease.

So, while we maintained several elements from last year that were successful such as (2) VIP decks provided for key discussions as well as a high-end catering area and private testing rooms. We did infuse the space with exciting new Absorb-focused components.

The centerpiece of the exhibit was a reactive LED floor that played Absorb content when people walked across it. It acted as a beacon as well as a runway flanked with touchscreen interactive monitors that Abbott representatives used as tools to educate visitors.

There was also a large, eye-catching flutter wall behind the hospitality counter that complemented the interactive components in the exhibit.

Abbott’s presence was definitely felt on the show floor. And the Halloween brownies were an extra treat.
