Packing a Punch in the Meatpacking District

Samsung recently held a home appliance event entitled ‘Samsung Living Atelier’ in the meatpacking district in NYC that highlighted its dedication to innovation and performance.

The event celebrated the 1-year anniversary of its Chef’s Collection. It also served as its official launch in the U.S.  Essentially, this dynamic environment provided hands-on demos of the Chef’s Collection products including refrigerator, dishwasher, range, and microwave. Other home appliances were on hand for exploration too – washer/dryer, vacuums, baby care, and LED products which were featured in a custom art piece/chandelier.

Master chefs of Samsung’s Club des Chefs were also there, helping the crowd create and enjoy delicious works of art.

Visual worked closely with two other agencies – Current, a Chicago communications agency and Eventage, a North Jersey event production agency – to create the amazing backdrop for this important event.

We did our best to set the appropriate stage to showcase Samsung’s high-end design and sophisticated vision.

The transformation from raw space to the environment that press and consumers encountered during event week was almost as impressive as the Samsung products on display.
